Made-to-measure guide
How to measure your kitchen doors
Even if you've never used a tape measure for joinery — this is the only guide you'll need.
- 1
Remove your existing door
Unscrew the hinges from inside the cabinet and lay the door flat on a clean surface. Measuring the door itself, not the cabinet opening, is the most reliable approach.
- 2
Measure the width — three times
Using a metal tape, measure across the top, middle and bottom in millimetres (mm). If they vary slightly, use the largest figure. Always round to the nearest whole millimetre.
- 3
Measure the height — three times
Same again, top-to-bottom on the left, middle and right. Write both numbers down clearly: width × height.
- 4
Repeat for every door and drawer front
Number each door (1, 2, 3…) and write its measurements next to the number. We'll match your list when we make your order.
- 5
Double-check before ordering
Bespoke doors are made to your exact measurements and can't be returned if the size is wrong. Measure twice, order once.
